An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a consultant-related occupation. Experience must include:
1. At least 5 years of experience in developing enterprise-class web applications using Java and J2EE technologies;
2. Spring Batch framework;
3. Experience in developing REST Web services;
4. Work with web technologies, including developing JavaScript APIs and using open source JS frameworks including JQuery;
5. Experience in continuous integration;
6. Experience in working with Java IDE;
7. Ability to document solutions including release notes and implementation guides;
8. Conducting unit testing of code modules before handing off to QA;
9. Development experience working with Oracle RDBMS; and,
10. Experience working in an Agile development environment (using Scrum or similar methodology).
